  • Credit & financial data – obtained through trusted third-party partners (e.g., Plaid and credit bureaus) only after you provide consent.
  • Usage data – login activity, browser type, device information, and interactions with our AI Co-Pilot.
  • Communication preferences – whether you choose text or WhatsApp for updates.
2. How We Use Your Information
  • Provide and personalize your Hutsy experience.
  • Display monthly credit updates and insights.
  • Send notifications, reports, and offers from our lender network.
  • Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized access.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements in Canada.
3. Sharing Information

We share limited data only with:

  • Service providers (Stripe, Plaid, credit bureaus) who process information on our behalf.
  • Lending partners when you request pre-qualified offers.
  • Regulatory authorities when legally required.

We do not sell or train AI models on identifiable user data.

4. Storage & Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We host data in Canada or the United States using certified providers. Access is restricted to authorized employees and partners only.

5. Your Rights

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and provincial laws, you may:

  • Request access or corrections to your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (may limit service functionality).
  • File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
6. Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to deliver services or meet legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted.

Welcome to Hutsy. By using our website, dashboard, or AI Co-Pilot (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Canada to use Hutsy.

2. Subscription & Billing

Hutsy charges a $10 CAD monthly subscription through Stripe.

Payments renew automatically until cancelled in your dashboard (Settings → Subscription).

Refunds are not issued for processed payments.

3. Service Description

Hutsy provides AI-driven credit guidance and access to loan offers from independent lenders. Hutsy is not a bank or direct lender and does not guarantee loan approval.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information.
  • Use the Services only for personal, lawful purposes.
  • Keep login credentials secure.
5. Data Use

All data collection and processing are governed by our Privacy Policy. You authorize Hutsy and its partners to obtain your credit information when you connect accounts.

6. Disclaimers

Services are provided “as is.” Hutsy makes no warranties regarding credit improvement, loan approval, or financial outcomes.

7. Limitation of Liability

Hutsy is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the past 6 months.

8. Termination

You may cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate your access for misuse or non-payment.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable Canadian federal law.
